Hi, I just wanted to check on the site to see if anyone can tell me about the problem I'm having. I have a P30 from a del Sol Vtec with a weird problem. I get the check engine light and the fuel pump gets no power so the car wont start, we scanned the car and got no error codes. We tested the ecu and think that the problem is on the start module, I installed a chip on the ecu to see if that could solve the problem but it is the same, check engine light. Before that I checked the main relay and it is ok. Can anyone tell me what could be wrong with the ECU?? Is it possible to fix it? where can I find the full diagram to check the start module, where's that module located?? can I replace it? fix it? Thanks in advance!!

 

sounds like your ecu died, happen to a friend of mine as well with a p30, time for a new ecu

 

I already have a new one, I just want to try to save that ECU...I installed a chip to try to save it but is not working...any ideas?

 

i believe you can try to change one of the main capacitors or whatever might have gone out, sometimes it works sometimes it doesnt, take the chip out and and put it in your new ecu,
