95 civic Lx gas mileage good or needs work?
Hello I have taken this car for a 4 hour drive and got 35 mpg. Its an automatic 1.5L 16 valve non vtec engine 4 door. should I be getting better mileage on flat roads? 148 thousand miles on it.

It says your from ohio? With it being that cold out on the east coast right now i would say your doing pretty good. If your trying to get better gas mileage i woud look into doing a tune up and keeping up to date on your oil changes.

I just got a '93 CX hatch, manual, with 187,000 miles and I got over 40 mpg my first tank, my last tank I didn't record so closely and it was less highway but I think I was probably in the mid 30's... a stock cx hatch is real light.
