f20b is basically a destroked h22. So it is less torque have to stay higher in rpms to get power out. In a light car like a Ef either one is going to have enough torque for that car.

i'd like to see an f20b in an EF hatch, and you say you want an all motor vehicle. i say all motor both are good but i would take the f20b on a good day.

f20b is good, but personally i'd take the h22a. it all depends on what u want, do a little more research, then decide.

My thoughts exactly.

Until you have some idea of what you're talking about, stick to your bicycle. Otherwise, take the time to do some EXTENSIVE researching and then try this thread again.

I believe they have different sleeve materials, the F20 doesn't have FRM sleeves, that's what I've read here anyway.
My only question would be maintenance items, same as H22? most likely but IDK

nope, some of the parts for the 2.0 cost more than that of the h22. thats one of the catches with the motor.

it's like :

Pro's : redline motor, not alot of people have it
Con's : if you break somethin oh hell, less tq as apposed to the H

What exactly do you have "planned", in regards to mods?
Why are you so intersted in the sleeves?
Are you "planning" for a built motor?
Have you considered the cost difference between an F20B and an H22?

The H22 has FRM sleeves, which allows it to have a larger bore/thinner sleeves, yet still be reliable. The F20B has a smaller bore, and thus didn't require FRM sleeves.

But the question remains, what are you planning? Are you going to tear apart the motor and run new pistons, rods, etc? OEM parts (JDM Type S pistons for example), or aftermarket? We need to know your intentions if you want an educated answer/opinion.

And the correct answer is, for a daily drive you should use: the stock engine!
