a little way down someone uploaded a copy of the serivce bulliten. Even if you are out of your warrenty, they can still do a good faith type of repair.

i already hit 39k and they said no warranty, so i waz thinkin i can just buy a better suspension kit and install it myself instead of spending $600-700 on something that already failed me

If you are really serious about the suspension mod then go ahead and get new stuff(s). If you are looking to stay a little bit stock I would bitch about getting a good will consideration.

So wait. Is there a recall on this or not? Because, if there is a recall on anything on your car, Honda is obligated to fix your car, at no cost to you, whether your warranty is over or not.
And...if your car falls under the recall, and they will pay for it, have them install the fix for free. Then, buy the new suspension kit. If you ever want to go back to stock, or sell the car with oem parts, it will already have the fix. Only if it doesn't cost you anything though.
