ok my buddy aaron (super china china) has a 97 ex that has been runnin ruff for a bit.

here is whats wrong:
car idles around 2 or 300 shudders and damn near shuts off bogs down when i give it gas then all of a sudden after 5 seconds or so of bogging it will take off and be fine till it bogs again

im postin this up for him cause his computer is down right now and we need to fix this asap so if anyone can steer us in the right direction that would be great

 

any insight??? the motor is a d16y8, he tried adjusting the idle screw with no help. any ideas would be great
