What higher capacity oem radiator can I use in my 93 civic?

 

Del Sol vtec radiator . Good upgrade for a swap.

The DOHC DelSol is not listed on the website but this is the email response I got after asking about it.

"The part you will need is our number 1570. That works for a m/t
Vtech engine. You may either get Koyo OEM or an aftermarket, be sure you tell the tech that you were browsing our website and got a choice of either OEM for $126 or an aftermarket for $117."

I ordered the $117 aftermarket one quickly, they were very helpful. They must have been b/o on the aftermarket one be cause I recieved the KOYO replacement instead. Very good service I highly recommend them.

I bought the $107 all copper and brass one. It is more than twice as thick as the stock unit and it kicks ***!

 

Damnit! I wish I knew about that before I bought a Del Sol Radiator for my stock 93 hatch. I bought it from radiators.com-great service and product, but I had to get the larger hoses to match the radiator up to my stock motor. I ended up getting a flex hose for the top and a Del Sol Vtec hose for the bottom.

With the absoluteradiator.com product it looks like you can use your stock hoses if you're still running a SOHC engine.

all you had to do was get metal screw type clamps mang...not need to get new hoses.
