Coming up to 30K miles
Guys,
My wife's 06 TL is coming close to the 30K miles milestone. She was planning on taking it to the dealership and they suggested that she pay $370 bucks to do the 30K maintenance.
They told her they would rotate the tires, change filters (I guess air filters) and some other stuff that she doesnt remember.
Do you know where I can find a specific TL maintenance schedule?
If I change the air filter myself, can this affect the warranty?
We basically do a lot of maintenance that they were offering as a package that we really do not need. So I am basically trying to only change the air filter.

I dont have the maintanence book in front of me, you can buy one off of helmsinc.com or look in the back of the owners manuel this info should be there. It will not void your warranty if you do the maintenance.
I do believe the oil filter, air filter and cabin filter is changed along with maybe a transmission flush (especially with the automatic) would be a good idea. rotate the tires and check the tread depth may need new ones in 5k miles or so. wiper inserts if there starting to streak... thats all i can think of now.
the parts are probably 70-80 bucks I'd recommend a K&N filter since its reusable and the honda oil filter. Micron makes the honda cabin filters so if there cheaper somewhere else then the dealer go for it. The cabin filter will probably give you the most trouble since it requires removing the glove box which is like 3 or 4 very breakable clips if you dont do it right.... excuse my spelling i went to public schools.....

Guys thanks for the input. I went and got the cabin and enginer air filter at the dealer. They were about 50 bucks together. I am about to do the instalation myself. The tires were rotated and drive belts checked.
Thanks again.
Thanks again.
