George Lucas is a director/producer, not a composer.

Looked pretty good. From a film student's point of view, it could have used a little more steady pair of hands holding that camera, but what can you expect from a handcam, right?

I'm just going to assume right now that it's your work, or that of a friend, but I like checking stuff like this out, and giving it some productive critique:

Good stuff, I would have liked to see holding off on the reveal of the NSX until when the operatic choir breaks in clearly. Until then, it would have been cool to see a bunch of "teaser" style shots, just tracking along the car's body, or by the wheels, very closely.

It seems as if it's waiting to break into some dramatic music you can really get the NSX going to at about 3:06-3:35. Maybe some ducked (quieter, but still present) engine sounds as the NSX lets loose on that freeway, or hits some backroads. From then until it gets quiet again, you could keep some of the exciting action going.

I did like how the music wrapped up, and the NSX came back from its "flight" in the evening during the end.

Some of the camera moves were a little erratic, including the speed of the zooms and the focusing, but executing good polished camera moves are VERY hard inside a vehicle.

Good dramatic music always helps amplify the production quality of film, and I think it worked out pretty well. This would look great with a little new, more exciting footage put in the middle, and some good polishing. This attempt at an "epic flight of the NSX" gets a good from me.

JPJ is coming to houston for TX2K8 to document the largest supra meet. i cant wait to see what they have in store for that video.

Just checked out the video for the Supra from the same person(s). IMO, that video is much more polished, and has some good stuff in it. Much more footage, and it goes well with the music.

Aside from the differences, I noticed similarities. There are some breaks in credibility in both videos that I've seen. Unfortunately, to me, it seems like we're with the cars as they're rolling, then we're stopped to be re-introduced to the cars as they're parked, and then we're back on the road in the blink of an eye. Just kind of jarring, and something I've been told to watch out for.

 

So what's it really sound like?
