Default Could low oil level cause a CEL?

I had a engine light come on sat night and the car went into limp mode and finally today got to mess with the car, but like an idiot i didnt check the code before I erased it. I noticed I was low on oil, added some and now everything is back to normal.
DO hondas have a low oil light like some fords do? or something that would trigger my situation? I know there are a million of reason why a code would come up..
I was just doing some thinking

I know my '97 Civic DX has a low oil light. I'm pretty sure my '94 Civic LX had one too, but I can't recall for sure because I never once saw it on.

That light will come on for sure when your oil gets too low. Not sure about CEL's, but you could Google Honda CEL codes and see what comes up in the list.
