Why are the injectors staying on???
ok bear with me here, Its my brothers car. 93 civic 4door 5spd ZC block with a regular head on it? Its not a vtech head nor a dual cam head just not sure but looks like a stock head. Got the car with distributor out, fixed that, battery was in trunk, fixed that, wiring to main fuse box was hooked up to ground??, fixed that. Timing is correct, compression is good, fuel pressure is good @40psi, new battery, got good spark at the correct time, replaced computer with known good one P06.
It turns over but will not start. If it sits overnight, when you first try to start it, it will start for mabey 1-2 seconds then thats it, crank, crank, crank, nothing. Put a test light on the injectors and i think they are staying on as I pull the plugs and they are soaked with gas. While i am cranking I cannot hear or feel the injectors firing (clicking on and off). Anyone have any ideas?
Thanks,
pnwcustoms

I've never really heard of them staying on, and bad injectors are usually clogged or just not putting out, lol. Have you thought of trying another ecu, a friends or something?

Checked the injector harness? I dont know what else it could be, i dont know if the main relay has anything to do with injectors. Also, do you have stock injectors?

Main relay supplies power to the injectors, ECU provides ground.
As to why they are staying on...
I've never seen one with four stuck injectors.

Im pulling them right now, yes stock injectors. Going to bolt them to a open mainfold so I can see if they are firing, or staying on. I will keep you posted.

Air + fuel + spark + compression + at the right time = running engine.
You're missing something.
