I know the average temp for march is around 45ish. So i know most of you wont want it then so how about a general consensus?

well i have actually thought about having another one on may 3rd but i see there is something else going on then but if you guys are down then ill get everything going again like i did last time just let me know

the thought of having one a little further south in a better location is a option also if you guys are willing to drive a little further i can get one together where we dont have to worry about cops and have an even sweeter road to ride on

 

Where might this new location be?

A little further south eh? I'd be more down for the previous locale, hence another Starved Rock Meet. I think you might lose some of the chicago/suburb people if you make them drive even further out. We won't have to worry about cops as long as nobody starts showing off like last time.

 

that is going to be the only down side of going further south is the chicago people i would like to get another starved rock meet but i just dont want to deal with those cops again, but if you up to setting everything up then ill be down, just try to make it later than april 28th cause thats when i get my license back

There is nothing saying that we cant have Starved Rock and another meet somewhere a little further south.

And if anyone is interested and kinda close to NW Indiana, we've been working on having meet & eat's every Saturday evening.

Wasn't that the same problem you had last year? If so, maybe you should just stick to the posted speed limit I wouldn't mind making the phone calls. I'd also be down for a meet in the south too.

I just hope I'm still around. I just passed my ATSAT test for the Air Traffic Controller School in oklahoma and I'll prolly be out there for at least 4 months. It's just a matter of when the FAA calls me for a job.

 

yea it was the same situation as last time its a long story but it is weird your leaving for the air force cause i am too in late may thats another reason im down for having another meet before i leave for boot camp and all that good stuff

I'm not leaving for the air force, I'm leaving for the Air Traffic Control Academy in oklahoma city. Technically, I will be a government employee though. Hopefully I leave before may.

Please have another meet soon. I got a hold of the thread from the first meet and was mad I missed it. I have some friends here in Iowa who'd be willing to drive out there for a meet. Looks like fun.

you know illinois, u can never be sure on the weather, and April can definitely still act up, i'd shoot for something in MAY.
