i was surfing the net and came across this wing ( i have a focus zx3 daily driver) tell me yalls opinion on making one of these wings work on an eg hatch cuz it seems like it might work with a lil modification and the price is great

Its not on the SCCA's list of approved wings for Touring Car, so its hard to say if its a legitimate race wing. But you can't beat the price. Hell, the brackets are worth that much.

 

well i do pca events and some nasa but i dont race any spec classes so being class legal isnt really an issue since im just doing hpde and just looking for some downforce

Thats a pretty great deal for the mounts. I have custom mounts made for my eg similar to that but bolted onto the hatch and top of the roof for more strength.

 

Wow, this may actually fit!!! And at only $130, and I have a Ford Racing dealer across the street from where I work.....

Looks like I will order one on Monday and see how it fits on an EG hatch!
