I Need help ASAP! Drag tyre pressure!
hey all,
I'm about to take my friends ITR to the drag, first time I've been.
What is the best PSI to have the car on?
I might be running on either RE010's or RE540's (semi slicks).
Help please...

it's spelled tire, not tyre.
I say start out at 25 psi and work your way down. Make a note which tire pressure gave you the best launch, trap speed and ET. Then next time, you'll know exactly what to set it at.
Each tire reacts differently, but somewhere in the 20's or even teens should be about right.

To late, i just came back from the drags. I had it set to 25psi on the semi slicks (They suck so bad for drag) did a burn out, and off the line, it spun until i was half way into second gear. Tried to feather it but it just didn't bite.
Anyways...
Best was a 14.504 @ 96mph!

Time is ok considering its got a full race roll cage made out of mild steel. ARGH!

hmmm....thats strange phil is this coog car?....he has got the same setup as jacob's and last night was a very cold night!.....hmmm.....very strange!.....
well, he car does carry extra weight (Mild Steel roll cage). Jacob has abit more work done and also Jacob's ride is better tuned.
Also, Eastern Creek has a uphill incline. I guess 14.5 is not that bad after all.
My 60 ft time was like 2.4!!! wheel spin!!
