My wife and I are expecting our first child...woot woot....I've always been fond of Honda's...and I definitely love the feel of the new '08 RDX's (Tech package)

Please give me your opinions on this particular vehicle.....pictures, pros/cons....comparisons...any regrets...anything...

THanks much for helping a newb on Honda Tech...I'm currently a '04 stage II wrx owner that is always on forums....

Thanks again!

I have an RDX and I too came from an 04 WRX, although not stage II (i wish). I've owned about 5 honda/acura's in the past and I am pretty impressed with this one. I can't understand why Honda waited this long to introduce turbo as a factory motor. Anyways, the car is awesome. It's got great power and torque, however, there is lag similar to the WRX. Eventhough it has a dual chamber turbo, it still lags. When the turbo does start to spin, the torque is impressive. Better than any honda I've previously owned or driven. The SH-AWD is great too. I've taken it to the twisties and it sticks. You actually feel the rear wheels compensate in a corner. It kind of slides the rear end into the turn. And as with any Acura, the fit and finish of the interior is second to none. I have the tech package and the audio and the navi are awesome. It's my first car with a navi and I consider it on par with TiVO and the internet, because I find myself saying "How did I live without it?" Also drove it from LA to Tahoe and it was super comfy, suspension isn't stiff to me at all. This crossover does drive like a car, at least I drive it like a car. I think it's the perfect compromise for a family car, considering you came from a stage II WRX. I like the RDX motor and SH-AWD so much, I am waiting for the new "rumored" TSX with this engine and AWD. If Honda does put this engine in a lighter car, I'll be first in line. No need for pics since it's stock and dirty. One more thing, the MPG suck, but hey it's a turbo.
