Default Transmission Issues

So I've got transmission issues... I don't even think it's worth it to go into detail of what's wrong because so much stuff is messed up in it that i have already came to the conclusion that i will be replacing it. Here's my delima...

I can't figure out exactly what I'm to do. I can buy another si trans for like 100 bux but i do plan on putting power to my car someday and am not sure exactly how much hp the stock trans can take. I've debated getting a hydro tranny or just building my tranny but i'm lost at what i should do... so i guess any help would be apreciated if you have any suggestions.. thanks

Get CRX Si Cable Transmission. Civic Ex Hydro Tranmission needs a conversion kit.

a stock trans can handle around 300hp without doing anything to it. you can probably get into the 11s range with a stock trans...and an SI trans is a good choice for that except the stupid short first gear. but you wont have to worry about that for a while.

an LSD will definitely help with traction issues. I should amend my previous statement and say that you probably wont be into the 11's without an LSD. Here is a thread from d-series.org that talks about the OBX LSD. There are plenty of "parrots" around here that just repeat what they hear about the OBX LSD, but I think you will see that a lot of people run them with no issues, so you should listen to your friend.. Mista Bone, quite possibly the best d-series trans builder on this planet recommends them as well. For around $400, it really can't be beat.
