How do u take out the E-Brake handle cover?

Default How do u take out the E-Brake handle cover?

I have a 97 Civic LX. Juss bought a E-brake handle and didnt give me good instructions. Im having trouble taking out the cover, theres no screws and hard to juss pull out. anyone knows?

Yes, you have to pull really hard then it will FINALLY slide off.

There no way this handle can juss come off by juss pulling. Im gonna have to juss cut it with some electrical hand held saw or something. Think dats a good idea?

You can get a strap wrench on it and twist and pull on it, or If you don't really care about damaging it get a few towels on it and a pair of channel lock pliers and pull it off.
