high idle at start
Does it stay at 2000rpm or does it eventually drop down to 1000-800 after running for a bit?
And what is the temperature out side in your area?
That is not a high starting idle if your temps are in the low 40's & 30's. That would be your Fast Idle thermal valve opening to help bring your engine up to operating temp faster. If your idle doesn't drop as your coolant temp rises get your FITV checked out. there is a thread in the FAQ's on how to clean and adjust the FITV.
A clogged IACV will not cause a high idle. if it gets clogged it usually gives you a surging idle between 500-1800rpm.
