Default 55.9 mpg 2000 Honda Accord Ex

i was looking through the ps magazine and i came across this: the HAFC and PICC, the HAFC is guaranteed to increase your millage by 50% or more. check it out below. i mean it sounds too good to be true

http://www.preignitioncc.com/ps/index.htm

they have an example of 2000 Accord Ex going from 28.4 mpg to 55.9 mpg.

anybody heard about this or what? i wonder how much it will cost.

my 95 civic did 59.4 mpg. totally stock. of coarse i went from sea level to 9000 ft to do it. i thought my gas gauge was broke, but when i filled up it only took 5 gallons. that was from Ouray to some town outside of Denver, but it still get about 40 on the highway ..

LMAO. Any of you guys believe this?

<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">HAFC Fuel Cell

* 6 x 6 x 4-1/2
* draws 15 amps
* produces 50-70 liters of hydrogen/oxygen mixture per hour</TD></TR></TABLE>

Let's see. My engine inhales 2.3 liters every 2 rotations; so let's say it's idling at 800 rpm...that would be 2.3L/2*800rpm = 920 liters of air per minute. The fuel cell only puts out 50 liters per hour....that's gonna work.

That would be increasing it 100% (aboutish)

And no, it's completely false.

i don't want to say whether is all BS or not.
However... out all the stuff the guy said... it reminds me of a car, customized by the owner, which has a D16 turbo charged with an evaporized fuel system that does more than 80 miles per gallon. The guy already patented the product, and hoped to commercialize his idea within the next few years or so.
