Hi all. I'm new to this forum and never had Honda before. Going to pick up one very soon.

Does anyone know what the name of this front lip is? And where can I get one? Appreciate any help thanks all.

You won't be able to get that lip. I've never seen another one like it, my guess would be a one-off Mugen lip especially designed for that accord.

If you look in the picture of it in the background though, that IS a mugen lip 100% And that one is impossible to find.

 

not sure if that lip is made by mugen or not, but i have seen a couple of other cars with it... but they were strictly race cars also (in japan).

 

Any particular place to look at for lip? I'm not sure but I have seen Mugen lip like the one in the background at TOP END Motorsports... any idea, guys? Thanks.

wwelcome. that car made me respect accords (always thought they had no potential)

you're looking at a car that had 15 straight vitories in JTCC in 1997, that MUGEN lip was rare in 1997 man............11 years later............especially with that cars history (beating skylines, porsches and BMW's for 2 years straight before honda pulling out and going straight JGTC and F1 ) i doubt that anybody who has it will get rid of it.................

 

After learning from other forums and owning CD Accord for 3 months now, I know the lip in the background picture was once made available back in late 1990s at King Motorsports (that is, Mugen distributor). However, the lip in the picture was never mass-produced by Mugen nor Accord. It was only used in 1997 JTCC Accord.
