After everything other than the shifter has been figured out. I'm at a standstill on what to do with the shifter.

I will be putting an obd1 JDM h22a and LSD trans with hasport mounts and axles into an EJ1. The install and wiring is cake, but what to do about the shifter.

Obd1's come with the steel shifter assembly correct? If I can pickup the OBD2 plastic shifter assembly, can Karcepts K shifter mount be used?

Or does anyone have a template to use for the Steel assembly?

Want to keep the center console and definitely don't want any binding, stretching, or breaking...
