Default Is it necssary to ground HID?

Hello,

I was wondering if it matters if we ground the HIDs. I ask since i never grounded them and cut the ground wire. I have almost 6 months with the kit and they are still good no signs of them going bad. they are still like how i got them the first day. So is it really necessary to ground, or will i cause an issue that am not aware of?

what exactly do you mean "ground your HIDs?" like any circuit, there must be a ground. If youve had them working for 6 months, theyr grounded

belive me, theyr grounded. a circuit isnt a circuit without a ground. theres a 2 wires coming from your ballast. one is a 12volt source, one is a ground.
