transmission purchase question.

Default transmission purchase question.

hey im gonna by a dohc zc for my 90 dx and i wanted to know if this transmission would fit

d15b tranny. is it from an si , or dx or a differnt car all together. do i have to count splines to figure it out. im a newbeeee so dont pick on me. thanks

It is from 92+ car it will fit but that is a hydro transmission not a cable transmission.

Toad is absolutely correct. Try to source another L3 (cable) transmission (Si, DX, HF or ZC) or just use your stock one.

Well, of course this is an option, but I don't really see many people using them outside of B-swaps.

oo good to know i didnt realize it was hydraulic. thanks for the help i was gonna get the zc with the tranny and intermidiate shaft but a lot of pple tell me that the si is the best way to go.

ZC transmission is good my buddy had one. It was a great transmission and with the innermediate shaft it gives you close to an LSD. Because the shafts are equal length.

Either ZC or Si is good transmission.

buy the whole drop zc tranny's the ****. 1/2 shaft
loved mine sold it swaped a b16. i'd take my zc back any day.

yeah
they cut the harness by the connectors which i sorta figuered but it gave me the connectors for the dizzy to pin onto mt stock harness and the cut the axels just after inner joint
motor ran great took alot of abuse only issue i had they sorted out and that was ups crushed my ecu but thet sent me another one in 3 days so all in all i was happy for the price
