What about this one?

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...tem=1840190023

I've seen a video of this thing before. They sat it on the ground and turned it on, it actually lifted ltself off the ground and started to fly away. They had to grab the power cord to pull it back down. What do you guys thing of this one?

Just buy it if you want it so bad. Then tell us after you buy it
how it doesn't work.

I really think you're underestimating the amount of air your engine sucks in.

My guess is that at very low RPM's something like this could possibly provide an advantage, but I'd actually be worried that at high RPM's it would actually be restricting flow. At the point that the engine requires more air than this thing is pushing, it would, in fact, become a restriction.

LOL

i've actually seen (or rather, HEARD) these things in action. you know how when you have a turbo, you can hear it spool up and the BOV kick out and it sounds all cool? well replace all those cool sounds with a strange (and fargin LOUD) weed whacker sound and you have this POS. plus it can't possibly push more than 2-3 psi.

if you really want to go FI without going FI, just get this little gem.

http://www.homemadeturbo.com/ramair.jpg

as the caption reads "1 PSI at 65 MPH"

props to Jeff for runnin a cool site for us poor ppl.
