Default b16 swap....help

Wats up h-t. Ight so i have a 91 hatchback and a b16 motor. I previsouly had a crx with my b16 in it but some ******* hit me and i was forced to get rid of the rex and got a hatch. So i had the b16 in the rex and i used the regular non vtec harness but my friend ran vtec for me so that was all good. The problems i was having were throwing code 14 and 6, In reverse it would bog down, and my real redline was somewhere in 8k range but it always stopped me at like 7200(everyonce in a while it would go but that was wierd). Now this other dude thats going to help keeps saying that bc of my harness im not going to be running right and its going to run shittier then before. I dont understand if my car is obd0 and my motor is obd0 what is wrong with this. Please help so i can solve this asap bc im trying to get it done this weekend. thank you.

he had to have used the obd 0 harness, it could be that the engine needed an rebuild

I used both my si harness and b16 harness and spliced it together into one custom harness.

No, you mean u used some of the vtec connectors. Thats different than pluggin the jdm harness in your car,LOL...cause that does not work. And believe it or not i seen people try to do just that

No the motor is not built, and believe me it is know where near bad, my motor is fresh and runs real hard. So im using the obd0 crx harness and the harness that the dude gave me with the hatch(he made the harness so it would be multi-point), If i wire the vtec into the harness will it work. thanx for the responses.

just sounds like a big wiring mess..

Now I'm assuming that you actually have a b16 pr3 or pw0 ecu...Did you run the 4 wires for vtec into the cabin and pin them into the ecu clips? If not,do that..

Then for you codes, look at the eacv and ect sensors to see if faulty wiring is causing your codes..

I'm assuming the hatch was originally a dpfi dx/std and had a custom mpfi/vtec harness from what it sounds..but what about the crx? is it a dpfi also?

Ok im using the pr3 obd0 ecu and in my crx my friend ran 4 wires or maybe only 2, actually think it was only 2 in the cabin into the ecu.
The dude who i got the hatch from had an ls and made his dpfi into a mpfi/no vtec harness, just the 4 injectors. The crx was a mpfi harness and thats where my friend ran the wires. Could all these problems be coming from not wiring the other 2 wires???

Now i think i got this figured out lol and also if i need a iacv(idle air control valve)(aka the little white sensor right on front of the intake manifold), and i were to go to autozone what would i order it under as in car and model. thanx for all the help so far.
