Default Spherical Bearings for the race enthusiast!

I just installed these on my car to replace my bushings and all I have to say is wow, what a difference! Replacing your old bushings with a spherical bearing helps your camber and toe remain unchanged under load eliminating negative deflection. Lowering your car changes the suspension geometry even more thus exaggerating the “Bump Steer” (feeling your rear end coming loose) in high speed turns. I feel the suspension is doing much more its job and cornering is way more predictable, especially for an AP1. Steering response is increased and I dont find myself counter steering hardly at all. Check it out.

This almost seems like an advertisement. Do people NOT trying to sell these things talk like this?

It was not intended to sound like an advertisement, just thought I'd share my experience and reveiws on the part. Some people dont even know what these parts would do so I was just being informative.

I understand, just from my stand point as a sales rep, seemed like a sponsor's proposal, but thanks for the info as it does seem to be an alright product for us AP1 owners

Firstoost- I used to work in sales too. I wish it was a sponsorship! (Free parts FTW)

Black S2k- At first I thought these parts would make my teeth rattle out of my head but I did not feel any difference in vibration.

The only negative I can see is that it is a race part so checking to make sure the bearings are in good shape is not a bad idea. I plan on checking mine in about 20,000 miles. Replacement of the bearing is easier than having to press new bushings in and out all the time. All you have to do is remove the snap ring.

I sent my arms in to be pressed out so you can use your OEM arms.

I'll try and get some pics of them installed this weekend. I just used the ones from there site.

Better watch your a-arm mounts for cracks...those things are meant for race applications, not for street cars that see more miles in a year than a race car will in a lifetime. They will transmit a huge amount of vibration to your chassis mounts.

TC Design also makes them and they are very clear about the intended application.
