Default ENGINE REV HANG UP

I,m relatively new to this site and need some help in finding a solution to the throttle (rev) hang time between shifts on my 08 Si. Yes i know Honda had a reflash fix for 06/07 Sis but mine is supposed to come with that ECU mod. I find this aspect of the engine behavior unacceptable. My understanding is that Hondadata reflash wont work well on a stock motor. I'm not planning on a header or exhaust, so anyone been successful in dealing with this issue?

Actually there is a fix. Go to your dealer and ask them to perform the ecu reflash for the 06 civic si. Tell them your rpms are hanging up on you. If they end up not doing it under warranty, its only $40+tax. It should take 1/2 hour of labor. Had mine done. Not much of a difference but its not bad. Better than before.
