Default Squeak/click from rear passenger suspension

There's a squeak/clicking sound everytime I turn, and at first I thought it was the trunk or somethiing, because if I pushed down the suspension it didn't make a sound.

2 months later, I decided to lube up all the hinges in the trunk, but that didn't work. I tried pushing it down again, just for kicks, and was suprised when I heard the same noise as when driving.

Anyone know what may be the cause of this? Is there a way to fix it myself? I have the haynes manual and service manual for my car...

oh and btw it's a 98 civic sedan with 47000 miles

It could be any number of things. If you think it's coming from the right rear suspension, then why were you messing with the trunk hinges? Pull a wheels off and look at the suspension.

Squeaks are typically caused by bushings. Check all bushings to make sure they are intact. Have someone push on your car to make the noise while you look for the source.
