Default Brand new Bseries vtec head castings complete with optimized ports and chambers...and cheap!

Edit: I hit "post" and realized I misspelled "optimized" in the title....lol....sorry hahaha

Didn't know how many people knew about these. I still go over to Endyn's site cause I miss those damn TOO forums so much (yeah, it's been years...but I still miss'em...lol). Anyway, I check Larry's articles and what not, and there was this.

http://www.theoldone.com/artic...x.htm

Clean vtec head castings complete, ls/vtec compatible....looks like good stuff.

A preview....

The heads look pretty clean overall. They say the process produces less flash and shift than standard Honda heads in the past.

Yeah, and it appears Larry had some influence on the stock port shapes, so even out of the box I bet they'll flow pretty well.

Dart's stuff is nice, but it's got some heavy flash and really needs cleaned up when you get it.

Larry is talkin 900 bucks for a complete head with all new components...that's pretty serious stuff for a nice cost. Plus it's got the dowels for the lsvtec, and the oil hole pre tapped...just the small things that count.

There is a huge thread in AM about this too. Appears to be pretty good stuff for the money.

We need a good block casting in the aftermarket that is affordable while also strong enough for big power like a billet aluminum block with steel sleeves. This atleast secures the problem with eventual casting shortages.

Agreed. Dart's are a start, but a little rediculous for the price. Hell, you could almost buy 2 of their small block V8 blocks for the price of one honda block.

Well, Larry uses Darts blocks as well, so maybe this company can follow up with a block distributed through Endyn. Could be good stuff comin.

I think it was said in the other thread it was going to be released to endyn first, then some intense testing was going to happen before release. I think this is great for the market. About time an affordable head is coming (hopefully) available to the people. Now they need to offer fully race version like other aftermarket head comanys.

There was some talk in the other thread about this as well...a version with revised valve angles, different ports and other differences.

If you were someone making an LS/VTEC anyways and wanted some mild porting done, that would make this a steal. The bare casting is worth that alone.

As its not too hard to find fubar'd heads from dropped valves, you could have a 'ported' head with good cams for less than many pay just for porting alone.
