Default tire size? 15 or 16" drag slicks?

Greetings. I am looking into some slicks for my 98 civic coupe. I plan to get some 15 or 16" rims for them but i am unsure of tire sizes. Any recommendations?

Get the BFGoodrich g-Force T/A Drag Radial in 205/50-15.

goodluck finding or fitting slicks or any kind of drag radial on 16's, it's an odd size.

then i should probably go with a 15"! Would the BF Goodrich be better than a set of hoosiers?? these will only be used at the track

I thought you were going to the DRAGSTRIP, not the track.

At the dragstrip, you're better off with drag radials, which are designed for the dragstrip. I don't know whether Hoosier makes drag radials; I know that their tires that the Tire Rack carries are primarily for the track and autocross rather than the dragstrip, so the BFG drag radials are better than those. (I don't know whether Hoosier makes drag radials that aren't shown on the Tire Rack website.)

Those Mickey Thompson drag radials that sicones mentioned sound like exactly what you need. (Or the BFG's...)

I am thinking its going to be MUCH easier to get 15" tires. Only think im unsure of it 15" wheels clearing the brakes...anyone running prelude rotors on 15's?
