hydrolocked and low compression?
91 std d15b1 stock
last week I accidentally sucked a cup full of seafoam up my brake booster line in one gulp.
It mad a metallic clanging pop, that seemed to come from the top end, and then there was what appeared to be valve ticking for a few minutes at idle.
Performance is fine, and the ticking went away after the first few minutes after the incident.
I had the compression tested and it was 160 125 125 105 the mechanic wasnt sure about the order.
could everything be fine, and a valve adjustment might fix it?
He didnt do a leak down test, as I will sell it as a shell if it needs engine work.
Would it be safe to drive, I had wanted to give the car to my dad, but am worried for his safety.
I have driven it about 15 miles and I can't tell anything is wrong with the car.

Something is definately wrong if those #'s are accurate.
I think a leakdown test is in order. If no leakdown is found, you most likely bent a rod...
Compression numbers should be as close as possible. 10% max on a "HI-PO" engine and 20% on stock/beater engines.
Soooo....Got pics of the shell?
