code 23 (b16a1)
Well when driving today for about 15 miles my check engine light came on so I read the ecu and got code 23 from the blinks (obd0). Well I searched on the ecu code list and found that code 23 is a knock indicator.
What I dont understand is why it would trigger this after my engine is already full warmed up. I put 3 bottles of a product called HEET in my tank to try and help pass emissions, but it did not help at all.
I figured the HEET could have caused the check engine light as I added it when I was low on gas(to concentrate in the gas and have more going to my engine). But after I filled it up with 89 octane and started it the light came on again for the same code. I am totally clueless on what to do as my jdm crx w/b16 manual doesnt even list a code 23. Also just to add VTEC still engages.
