Default Parts for JDM F22B

What USDM vehicle should I use for service parts on a F22B (JDM)?

Thanks.

I believe you would want the 92-96 Honda Prelude Si with the H23A1 motor. But you could search to double check that as I know it's been mentioned before.

Thanks. I did some checking and didn't find much as for service parts, just stuff needed for the swap itself. In speaking with the business that sold the motor to me they advised utilizing 94-97 Accord parts. I'm going to check into this further.

Anything engine related parts wise is going to be the same as H23A1 except the pistons, those are F22B specific.

That would be a 93 Prelude Si.

Thanks G-Man! I'm looking for general service parts (timing belt, water pump, seals, etc.). I'll order the necessary parts and get things underway. Thanks again for your help.

I just did a compression test and leak down test out of the car. Yes, I put a few drops of oil in each cylinder. Compression is running about 230-240 psi, is this acceptable? All pistons are within 10 psi. When I did the leak down test 2,3 and 4 had signs of bent (or not fully sealed) exhaust valves and #1 sounded like blow by on the rings. The motor is for my dad's 91 Accord, should I just drop it in and cross my fingers or pull the head? Are the compression numbers acceptable?

if you have 1 out of 16 valves that were bent i would advise you to attempt to straighten it. then cross your fingers, then run it. sometimes bent valves will balence themselves back into an acceptable position. but not always. you claim to have...4 malfunctional valves correct me if i'm wrong?

nobody wants to pull the head and pay $60 for a new gasket, but i would advise you just to be on the safe side..if you have the money. pull the head and fix the valves. i didnt have the money when this happened to me, so i had the valve straightened and it runs strong. it's on you though bro.
