Yokohama has discontinued the tire i have been using for years and am in need of a new tire for wet and dry traction since i have just move to florida. I have been running ES100's for years..they are good in the dry but lakcing in the wet I have been looking at the Dunlop SP sport maxx, or Pirelli P Zero Nero. Tire size is 205/40/17. If you have any suggestions im all ears.

I did post uop in the wheel and tire section, but it can move pretty slowly at times.

 

I have Dunlop Direzza DZ101's on my hatch (15") and they have been a very good all around tire, IMO. I'm about to buy some more in a month or so. They have also lasted a lot longer than I thought they would. 2+ years of commuting 25k+ miles per year.

I will take a look at them...how are they in the rain

 

They have been fine for me. It rains here a good bit in the spring and summer and I haven't had any traction issues with them. The bang for the buck has been huge with these tires. I got them for like $40 each, have put over 50k miles on them, and they still have some life left in them. If the inner tire wasn't worn down due to being lowered, I could probably get another year out of them. But like I said, they have a good mix of wet and dry traction. Perfect for a DD, imo.

 

I run on a set of Toyo T1-S's. They're an excellent tire in the wet and the dry. Although they tend to howl a little bit on the highway.

neo gens arent bad .... hard sidewall

 

check tirerack.com and search by tire size.. they have tire reviews from actuall buyers.
