URGENT: Need Exedy Bulletin
I remember there was some issues with the clutch not releasing completely, or something along the lines of that. There was a bulletin released by Exedy.
If anyone has a copy of this, or has an idea of what the fix is, I would appreciate it if you could post it up or email it to me.
I am doing an Exedy clutch right now and I need to know just in case this happens to me this time.

it is about the clutch adjustment...
the rod going from the pedal to the slave cylinder needs to be shortened so that the noise when the pedal is fully pressed goes away.

Will, know anyone who had this problem firsthand?
I had it when I installed an Exedy clutch on my B16A in my CX(now sold)
I thought it was the clutch itself, because it would not go into reverse, and I had to FORCE it into gear while the car while running. With the car off, it shifted like butter, but with it on, forget about it. So I pulled it out the same day. What a bitch.
I was pretty pissed to say the least, when I found out about this bulletin, because my Exedy didnt have a copy of it, so I was unaware of the problem.

Yup, happened to me. I had to turn in the push rod a boat load. So much that the return stop bolt for the clutch had to be turned in all the way and there is still a little slack before the push rod hits. If you don't adjust it, just don't push the clutch down all the way and it will shift like butter. Also, if you push the clutch down all the way you should hear the pressure plate fingers hitting the flywheel. Sounds nicey nice.

Yes, mike, I had this problem. It freaked me out too, I was on the phone late night with Fred Ellis, the CRXGuru. He worked with me and all, but he didn't know about it either. Granted, this was a year and a half ago. I figured it out when we had the car up on stands, i was pissed and just pushing the clutch up and down, someone was turning the wheel and magic happened, we figured it out. I thought it was just my car....glad to hear it isn't. Think Exedy would make adjustments for this in production, huh?
My car wouldn't go into any gear at all and we effectively smoked the **** out of that clutch in the process of trying to get it in... lol...
did the under dash clutch adjustment and fixed it right up though... I won't take credit for thinking that up tho, and no we didn't have the bulletin.
