That is way too cheap if those are new parts.

nope its no joke i live in southern cali i just picked up the agx for 200 and going to pick up the g/c this weekend for 250 with custom spring rate.

 

hey, I was trying to get you to respond to me last time on where you got the agx at? but i finally found someone that was carrying them for 250 for KYB AGX on Craiglists from San Fernando, CA. But any way my set up came out to the same price. KYB AGX-$250 (off Craiglists.com) and Ground Control $289 (jhpusa.com) Other then that camber kit and toe joint would help you out alot same with ASR subframe and a 22mm or up Sway Bar. Since I was on a budget I went with AGX/GC,password front and rear camber/toe joint/asr/24mm/new trailing arm bushing/and front ES bushing and then threw on some new tires size 195 on some 15. Ride is fantastic. Calculation on all parts was under 1100 with doing the labor myself. I think this is the best deal to go on a nice quality and low budget!

$540 != $450.

 

man u got ripped on the agx could have low balled him. i know for sure u would have gotten it for 200. this guy i met with lives 1 mile away for the warehouse that has the agx and if he is selling them for 200 to me i know for sure he is still making money. as for the gc the guys says that i can get it custom spring rated but i am goin to see this weekend. if you kn

$250 for a set of new KYB AGX is hardly "getting ripped."

i guess what u say is true "agx for 250 hardly a rip off" but i am just saying if i can get mines for 200 out the door, some of these guys that are selling them for 300+ are making a lot of money.

Not necessarily. You don't know what distribution channels they're going through and how much they are paying.

Whoever sold them to you for $200 made almost nothing, if anything. There's no point in running a business if you're not making any money; that's kind of the point of it.

What do you feel is an acceptable profit to make on a $90 shock?
