Default Air/Fuel Ratio Gauge

Looking to hook up a air/fuel ratio gauge in a 89 civic hatch. I need info how to hook it up or another idea to monitor the fuel lean/rich ratio.

well.... seein as you got an obd0... there is only 1 wire comin out of the O2 sensor... so i would say pick that one. there are 3 wires comin out of the back of the gauge. 12v power, ground, and a signal for the ?O2 sensor

What exactly are you planning on doing? A narrowband A/F ratio gauge is virtually pointless for any tuning. It is more of a "Hey look at the blinky lights in my show car" type of device if not hooked up to a wideband oxygen sensor system.

An EGT would be more beneficial than a narrow band O2

You need a wideband oxygen sensor system. Around $200-$350 for a good one. I recommend an Innovate LC-1 or LM-1.
