Default Stock alarm...Is yours to sensitive??

My Alarm has been trippin lately. It seems every time i park on the street and a bus or big truck goes by my alarm is set off. Is there a way to turn down the sensitivity? It diddnt use to do this. Ive had the car for about 5 months and its an 06 Si. I bought it used.

Anybody else have this problem??

Thanks in advance.

Trippin huh? Listen up dawg. Did the original owner have an aftermarket shock sensor or alarm put in by the dealer? If so that might be your problem. The factory alarm does not have a shock sensor, therefore it shouldn't go off because of noise. I have the same car and have never had an issue like that before.....and I live next to an Air Force base.

Look under you dash right where the steering colum is at and there should be a blue or black box there. It has a dial where you can increase sensitivity or decrease it.
