Default Motion sensor problem

I have a Clifford alarm with a motion detector, and unless I have the detector turned all the way down, the alarm will immeditatly go off when armed. Whats the deal?

are you sure you are setting the warning sensitivity?
cause i know its a dual stage for clifford where u can adjust the proximity sensors and the alarm it self, 2 different things.
