Default Adjusting TPS?

Hey is there such a thing as adjusting a TPS?I mean I kind of read a thread asking how to adjust and thought to myself about it.I replaced my TPS sensor months ago but I was wondering if there is a certain tilt to it? I mean my car has been running rich ever since so I just wanted some heads up on this Thanx!

yes your supposed to adjust it, use a volt meter and probe the wire in the middle and put the other probe to ground, with the ignition the reading should be something like 0.5v and at full throttle it should be something like 4.5v I'm not 100% sure on the voltages as last time I did this was more then 4 months ago. If its really off tho it will cause a cel.
