Caution: The black leather with red stitching ITR shift **** will not clip into the top of the JDM OE black leather with red stitching shift boot.

The opening is more narrow and will not accept the clip flange on the base of the ****. However, the black/red stitch **** will clip into a 99-00 Civic Si shift boot (no red stitching though) as well as the top of an Acura NSX shift boot.

To get it to fit tightly, you would either have to zip tie the boot or transfer the top collar piece from 99-00 Si/NSX boot to the JDM black leather red stitch boot.

I filed the 2 edges down so that it did fit nice and snug(as you can see in the pic.) I then just used a dab of black silicone to hold it in place so it always looked nice.

I prefer the ITR **** to the EP3 ****, but they are insanely priced and I've about had my fill of red stitching. My ideal set-up would probably be a 99-00 Si **** and boot for a nice, clean flush fit.
