Default b16a thermoswitch

I'm thinking my thermoswitch is bad in my obdo b16a. The fan relay and fuses are good. I think I know how to test the thermoswitch (bridge the two terminals). but here's where I come in a bind. What car do I get the switch for? I heard spoon makes one, but it wont fit the first gens. what about the DA b18a? Will that fit? Thanks.

Actually...I have another question for you guy's. Was reading up alot on other common rad. fan problems and it seems that a while back one of the other members on here fixed a his blown rear defroster fuse and his fan started working again. I checked my defroster fuse and there wasnt one in it..my question is..would this affect my fan?
