Default rainning and my dc5 is getting flooded inside

warranty is voided. i'm driving a 05 type-s. Its been rainning lately and i hear water noise gushing. In the trunk where the spare tire is, its got some water there. I checked around the walls of the trunk and there isnt any wet. there's also water under the floor mat everywhere from driverside, passenger and back. I'm trying to find where the leaks. checked the moonroof and nothing there. anyone with this kind of horrible experience, let me know. dc5 is starting to annoy me

Just some good advice, pull that carpet out and start drying. If not you will have a FUNNY smell for a long time. My buddy had this same problem a couple of years ago and it was terrible!

Check the gasket around your hatch and around your tail lights. If you see any water or condensation in your tail lights that's where the water is probably coming from....or look around on crsx because this has been a huge problem with our cars

Eek, my old Integra did this. I took all the interior panels out and sprayed it with the hose, caulked all the leaky spots, and it still leaked. If it's been salvaged and you're already fed up with it, I'd strongly consider selling it. My Integra leaked from the day I bought it until the day I sold it, and I did everything I could to fix it.

But then again, it could be something simple like the sunroof drain tubes aren't connected.

Good luck...you'll need it!

In my case, water only came in thru the hatch but would then fill up the spare tire area, and when you hit the brakes all that water would splash up under the rear seats and continue to the floor. It's a mess, for sure.

The sunroof drain tubes are tucked inside the real panels, you'll have to take them out to see it.

Depending on how much you love.like your DC5. on a weekend or free time you may have, strip everything out of the car and check everywhere! you dont want it to start rusting and all of a sudden on the motorway it brakes in half... just saying. thats my personal opinion but g/l with it.

First things first: Does the reason it was salvaged have anything to do with the problem?
