buddy club n+ or koni/gc
I am looking to get a coilover setup for my g3 integra after the snow have melted. Currently, I am stuck between the two. I drive my car all year so i want the height to be adjustable. I heard that the buddy clubs have a protective coating on the threads to prevent corrosion. Does the GC have something similar? The n+ spring rate is 12k/6k what is the pros and cons for that? If going with the gc/koni setup, what spring rate should I get?
the issue isn't so much of a corrosion but really fine threads on the BC, setup. GCs have no issues with salt or rust, they are pretty easy to adjust even when filled with salt and sand. Threads are wide apart and locking screw allows for further room to adjust.
Personally I have not had any adjustment issues on my GCs after 2 years of winter driving, but my Teins HAs do. The BC spring rate, will give you loads of understeer, and inablility to choose your rate could be an issue. GC combo allows for custom rates for different, types of driving. Lifetime warranty on Koni/GC combo is a plus, where as Asian brands carry at best 2 years of warranty.
