Ok the problem is while driving on the freeway the car sometimes hesitates or seems like its miss firing. I step on the gas and the car is not accelerating its like bogging and is kinda jerky? I popped the hood and noticed that the distributor was advanced all the way? Could this have caused the problem or could it be something else? Has anyone else experienced this and if so what was the solution?

Check the timing, if the timing is off it will do what you described, more so at lower rpm's

 

whats the setup: OBD0 or OBD1? What distributor are you using? ECU? Etc?

 

the car is obd0 the motor and distributor and ecu is obd1, I have the rywire dpfi to mpfi obd0 to obd1 harness as well

 

the car is obd0, but the motor distributor ecu are obd1, I have the rywire dpfi to mpfi obd0 to obd1 wire harness
