Sorry for not having a better pic. Paint looks a bit rough but it does seem to have a clear coat. Think it can be buffed out? Ive also read about wetsanding then buffing, but wouldnt sanding it just rub off the paint? It also seems as the reflections been distorted, but thats kinda how it looks in person.

it could be orange peel, my pee or just salt, snow and mud

get some better picture from multiple angle before trying anything(since you dont sounds like you know what you are doing)

try wetsanding...if you see black on the sand paper or buffing pad then there is no clear on it or very little...

it does not look like orange peel. i would say it does not have enough clear making it dry. if it was my car i would wet sand and reclear if you try to buff that you will more likly burn through to your base and then have to reclear anyway

i rather not give that advice to a noobs(no offense) that can't tell orange peel from crappy **** paint.

it's a good advice but it could do more harm than good

Hahaha sorry guys, i kind of dont know what im getting into. I actually looked up orange peel and its not even close to what i thought it was LOL.

Basically the paints clearcoat looks bumpy and wavy all around the car but doesnt feel as it looks. Would wetsanding the existing clearcoat on it right now be best? Then after i get to the base, apply a new layer of clear coat?

I have a place to rent a booth and all id have to do is sand it down to the base coat, then someone would be applying a clearcoat to it for an hourly rate.
