Tony The Tiger, what happened to your car
i saw your lovely green integra at bodyshop, a guy told me that u blowed your engine or something like that,(blew the block or something) and now your car is sitting at the shop without a engine ? sorry for your lost, just wanna know what actually happened, was it because too much horsepower that engine couldnt handle it or ??
this makes me consider not to push too much HP on my R, what do u people think the safe range of hp to push with our R, without port polish ...etc
if i just run h/i/e with mugen ecu valve spring cam gear and toda spec B will it be safe ?

1) You won't want to use a Mugen ECU with TODA cams.
2) Mugen valvesprings are stock ITR valvesprings in a Mugen box.
3) Mugen doesn't make cam gears.
With that covered, at any level of performance, tuning is the key. But even with proper tuning, catastrophe can always occur. A timing belt could shred, misshifting, etc. If you want the most reliability, don't open up your engine. Stick to bolt-ons like I/H/E.
You got your parts all mixed up. When it comes to ECU, stick with the same brand as your cams. Best would be dyno tuning with custom ECU.

Will King ever admit this? So if I ever get Hondata, I can tune my motor to 9000 rpm and it will run reliably?
So USDM 1997 ITR's do NOT have these springs?

Mugen valvesprings are stock '98 spec ITR valvesprings in a Mugen box intended for pre '98 spec vehicles which did not come with the same valvesprings.
I'm going Turbo & SC with nawwwwwwwwwwwz!
j/k
The Teg was in for some body repair since last month, so during the downtime of gettting it repaired, I've decided to take apart the motor and check for certain things -- retainers, rockers, etc... It seems like people with Portflow retainers are getting worn retainers. Anyway, my Crower's are 100% fine...pics coming soon
