Michelin pilot sports.
Hey guys Im not really ever in this forum but my aniversary is coming around soon and My fiancee wants some rims for her celica.
So I actually have a few questions first corresponding to the tires mentioned in the thread title Ive been looking at these tires and are said to fit a 16 inch rim. My question is simple has anyone used these tires and what was your expierience with them?
My reason for asking is basically because im looking for a good gripping tire that wont wear out to quickly. Her car has major traction problems in the rear and likes to slide out ALOT... so Im just curious what tire would help some with the traction issue.
Another question I have is If I get the rear rims wider than the stock ones she has alot of room extending past the rotors in the rear. Would this help with her sliding issue? I know that going with a suspension upgrade would help her with the sliding issue but she really isnt into the whole performance thing and honestly right now I dont have the money to get her a good set of coilovers.
right now im looking at Khumo Esctas, Michelin pilot sport, and the yokohoma Advan Neovas.
If you guys need wheel size Im not currently sure I know she either is going to want a 16 or 17 inch rim and they both look fairly decent on her car but that is beside the point. Any comments, Ideas, Referrals accepted with much grattitude.
Any flaming keep to yourselves.

8. This is honda-tech.com, a place for sharing information about Honda and Acura cars. This isn't the place for information about wheels and tires for your grandmother's Buick or your son's Mustang; there are other websites that specialize in those cars, where people will have more specific expertise with those cars than here.</TD></TR></TABLE>
