Default Stiff Suspension on 08 Si

I just bought my white 08 si about three weeks ago and love it to death. Ive been noticing lately that i feel every bump in the road. I dont want to sound retarded I know its supposed to be a stiff suspension but how many of you out there feel alot of bumps in the road when your driving. Might be one of those feeling wear I have something new so i think somethings wrong just for the heck of it.

Sport suspension of the Si just feels that way. I have the HFP suspension and I LOVE it. I feel disconnected from the road in a car with a soft suspension. Enjoy it.

I did have two bad struts when I got my car .Honda replaced them at 4ooo miles so you might have a problem if you hear some noise when going over bumps. but being stiff is the SI.

Dude, I swear, I've seen you say you've had other stuff replaced before. Am I right? How much stuff have you had replaced? Seems like a lot!

I did! well....I did a little over a year ago. I knew the suspension was going to be stiffer, and I love it! I don't ever want to go back....that Taurus handled like the boat it was.

Yea. This was my first brand new car too, and believe me, I was the same way for a little while. Now, I love the stiff suspension. I definitely feel more connected to the road. You'll get used to it and love it too.

my '08 Si feels like a Lexus after being used to my EK for 4 years. (Eibach Pro Street kit) But I can still feel the control, just a bit more comfortable. I like it.

yea fijiblue. I have had a # of issues but I Am used to it by now. I have a 05 ford 4dr diesel dually that has been nothing but trouble. (ill get back to that) my civic has had the struts replaced, sun visor, door weather strip, valve cover gasket, and now I need a pulley bearings replaced. it sounds like the rear wheel is humming and I have a bunch of rattles that need to be fixed. I had some fixed but it like pulling teeth to get them to look at it now. the dealer says that Honda wont pay to fix little rattles which is BS. so yes I have had some problems but nothing like my truck. the truck has had 4 oil leaks, rear power window replaced 3 times, ABS censors, master cylinder, all the lights have burned out and the last time truck was in the shop for it not running good it needed to have the turbo replaced. all this within 30.000 miles. im sure I forgot some stuff but you get the idea. no more fords for me! so the few issues I have had with the SI is tolerable.

Yea...that dirty four letter word that begins with F. UGHHH. Ford stinks man. I'm sorry you had to find out the hard way man. I have no idea how they are constantly the best selling truck in America, because every single person I know that has one, hates it. LOL.
