I have put my stock clutch/pp/flywheel and final drive up for sale (and I think I have just sold the clutch/pp and flywheel) and was wondering if the 4.4 final drive is actually worth anything. I have seen others selling them for $100 or so but have no idea if they actually sold. Does it actually fit in other trannys?

Only use it can serve someone is if they have a higher FD and want to go back to stock, or you can sell it to someone with a LS or B16 transmission and they want to install a ITR diff. The ring gear on the LS and B16 trannies do not work with the ITR diff.

 

So it could probably be sold as a package with an ITR LSD if you were to get an aftermarket LSD... ?

 

It'll be worth a lot if you decide to return the car to stock and sell it.

 

Sell it to LS integra owners.

I sold mine for 100 bux

 

An LS Integra owner would need a B16 or B17 FD, because of the aforementioned incompatibility with the differentials (the GS-R and ITR 4.40 ring gear is larger than the LS 4.29 and the B16/17 4.40).

What RPM would you say that 295 kph (~180 mph) would be at?
Around 9500 rpm?

 

A JDM ITR tranny has GSR 4th and 5th gears. If you want to obtain the highest top speed possible, keep the JDM 4th and 5th with the USDM final.

 

I figured that my hatchback could go 172mph with a USDM GSR gearbox spinning 5th gear at 9500rpm
