Steering wheel knowledge...Mr. Projekt? S@ntos?
Hey I need Mr Projekt or someone to answer this....can you screw up an OEM steering wheel install? The reason I ask is, I pulled and reinstalled an OEM steering wheel in my S, and for some reason, the wheel is slightly off center now. It was perfect before. My tire pressures are a little different, but I don't think it could cause a difference that is THIS dramatic. It looked to me like there is basically one way, and one way only that the steering wheel will go back on...am I wrong?

since my name is in the title...yes you can screw it up. And you succeeded! lol. just line the wheels up straight again...and then put the wheel back on. Unless you man handled the wheel on there and stripped some teeth. There isnt alot of leeway when installing the wheel so you should be ok.
ha he requested jdm knowledge? it's not like the thread title was " i'm looking for cheap ebay knockoff replica parts (JDM Knowledge) and input from people who don't even own an s2000 (S@ntos)"
jdm knowledge answered it right tho.....did you by a spooM steering wheel from him?

yeah just like any other car, the steeringwheel can turn. ur supposed to mark it off when ur wheel's still on, clearly marking the wheels are straight. sounds like ur off by quite a bit

It's a factory CR wheel that I put in. It's got the spot in the back that looks like it works in a woofdruff key fashion, so I didn't really think that it could get screwed up, but I guess I was wrong.
I guess I'll be goin for the do-over.
